Sound to me that your clutch isn't working.
Depress the clutch pedal and have someone look under the car, does the clutch lever move back and forth? If it doesn't then either the cable is broken, disconnected at the pedal or clutch lever, or your pedal assembly is messed up.

if it's been sitting the disc may be rusted to the flywheel

I had a Massy Ferguson tractor last year the customer had sunk, pulled out of mud, then let sit all winter. I tried everything to break that disc free. Finally had to split the tractor to do it. And really, once apart, one good tap broke disc away from flywheel.

Oh I digress. Mark may be right. Tough to unstick em. Not sure if you can get to see disc, if you can, depress clutch, smack disc with anything you can reach it with. Good luck

There is a cover on the lower front of the bell housing that can be removed. Perhaps a whack or 10 on the flywheel there might help.

What I do is the following when my clutch is stuck:

1- Jack up rear end (via differential)
2- Put car in first gear
3- Start engine
4- Depress clutch
5- Press brake pedal

It's worked every time I tried it (about 3 times).

This is better than my method. I usually just put the car in first gear and make sure the battery is good n' hot. pres the clutch in and bump the starter a few times.

So Raviv,

Did you ever find out what was wrong? If so, what fixed it? I have a similar problem.
