I was a boat builder in another life so I have no worries making fiberglass panels for the kick spaces. I am still going around in circles with speaker location. That said, a good stereo is not my priority since I like the sound of these cars so much.

Talk about baby steps...
Every time I test and sort a connection, get it labled and set aside, I have a little mental celebration!!

Ha, those plastic horns are gonna have to do for a bit!

I finished buttoning up my relay bank, with a dedicated fuse panel.

And tested all the headlights again :D

Which one Andy?

Ok, have to quit early today to prep for the mom but I did get my steering column wiring completely sorted. Everything tested and working as it should with the exception of the intermittent wipers. I'm just going with a two speed set up.

With some of the column switched the intermittent relay does not work. There is one wire that is reversed on some switches, when it should be grounded it's not and vice versa. I was able to fix this on a friend's car by cutting one of the wires going to the column switch and grounding them. Problem is I forgot which one...

Csaba, I've tied off the yellow and white wires that Brad's diagram show going to the intermittent switch and run a low and high power to the cowl. I haven't pulled a wiper motor yet to test it but this should work right?

I do have one wire coming out of the steering column that I couldn't find any use for and couldn't find on any of the wiring diagrams. It is black with a purple stripe. Anyone know what that one was meant to do?

Did you make the harness before you install ?or do you pull wires one by one to make it
