My first car

I have had my '76 Fiat since my mother bought it in the early 80's. I was 5 yrs old. I inhereted it in 1997 and since then it has come with me from NYC to KC to Dallas to Denver to Saramento and finally to San Francisco. Not one time did I really drive it after that summer in 1998. Call me crazy, or call me a plain old Fiat lover- we are one in the same.
I have dreams of another overahual (it had one in the late 80's) and nightmares that I just may need to sell it. Overall I joined this group to help me come that determination one way or another. I am also the only person I know that asks for "intention of use" and "future of the vehicle" when attempting to sell it.
Call me crazy...

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
Over and over we hear from new members how they had a Spider in their younger days and for one reason or another, sold it. Then miss it and long for another, sometimes for many years (26 years in my case). I'm sure if you don't hold on to your car this will be your story also.
Good hearing from you.

Hi Crazy (as requested). Welcome to the nut house.

i'm afraid you will regret for the rest-0 your life selling such a fine example of Italian art, especially with the rich history this particular one has.

That's the thing, these cars are quite easily made personal by just one or two little mods that make you never want to part with it.

I know, I know!! I would regret it forever if I gave it up. Right now I am just looking for "potential" buyers, while at the same time trying to figure out what the total cost to get it back on the road would be.
Thanks for the warm welcome.

i love the color and the wheels. sitting in that car port, it looks literally cool to drive.

if you are not gonna sell it, why would you look for potential buyers?

ship it to Coldwater. I will hold it for you until you come to your senses.
