Heater box

Post by TulsaSpider »

When I got the car the center console was basically loose and disconnected. Also the heater fan just below the heater core, was held together with wire sort of.. anyways I thought I would just put some screws in it and move on, there's no way to put screws in it!! I read somewhere that there are supposed to be four clips of some sort that hold the bottom piece on... I can't see even where that could work.. any advice? I guess I could rig up my own straps or something...
It previously had A/C that the PO removed.
Thanks

Hey Clark, how you? Here's a picture showing a clip. There should be one on each corner of the heater box. They snag a slot at the top and hook into a tab at the bottom. Hope you can make out the detail in this picture.
