Hi,
My teenage son and I started fixing a 75 spider which was free of Craigslist. Its been a great experience for him. We recently picked up a 81 spider with a very nice body but seized motor so we're going to put the 1800 motor from the 75 into the 81

Welcome to the forum, D. I'm curious, did you have to fight off a crowd to get to the free Spider first? What a great way to have father/son quality time. Good luck with the '81. BTW, if you're going to sell off parts of the '81 engine (FI parts) let us know first, OK?

welcome to the site. Whether you keep the FI or carb, there should be a good market for the other intake system

and take five times as many pictures as you believe are necessary. some day, the future family historian will appreciate your efforts. Our hobby should always be a relational thing, not just a to-do thing.
