New Member In North Georgia
Just got a 1979 spider 2000 project car to work on. Runs pretty good, but needs a lot of work. Glad I came across this site. Looks like a great resource.
Re: New Member In North Georgia
welcome. post some pix of the project when you have time.

Welcome to the site Speedy, sounds like you'll be able to drive and enjoy your car as you work on it. Good for you, it helps to keep the spirits up to be able to take it out and do some top down running around.
Keep us posted on progress, and don't hesitate to come to the forum when you need help.

Welcome to the obsession. LOL
I am working on my 1980 Spider and know the feeling. Mine runs too good not to drive but I am doing a complete suspension and brake rebuild before it hits the road again.
Take it one step at a time and have fun, we have some resources here in GA. I even found some bits and pieces at a local pull-a-part on a picked over '79 Spider.

Welcome ,Speedy...all right another Spider in Georgia! Where are you located? I live in Blairsville,up in the mountains. If you need some resources,mechanics,etc.. let me know. And more importantly, bring that baby up here for a mountain tour.I have a close ,personal relationship with every curve in this area! Now that there are a few of us around ,we might be able to activate the dormant FLU-Atlanta chapter.
