Hope this picture works, I was some what challenged by the process!
I'm am an old Fiat lover, actually sold them for a number of years in the early 70's. I have spent more time laying on my garage floor than walking on it over the last few years getting this 82 up to it's current condition. I must admit I have seen only one other Spider in Houston since I moved over from Austin 7 years ago. Any more of you out there?

We've seen and admired your car on IAP's home page. It's the same color combo I had in 1980 (mine was a '79) when I got married. Two weeks after I sold it the guy had it painted dark brown! Personally I think that color is gorgeous.
Welcome to the forum, good luck tracking down other owners in your area.

Welcome! Houstonian here, but currently living in San Antonio. Visiting Houston this weekend though. Where are you in Houston? I want to get a group together later this summer to do a winery drive through TX Hill Country if you are interested. Great looking Spider!

Let me know when and I'll try to be there. I have relatives in the area so it should be a doable trip for me.

Thanks for the kind words! I don't think I would have purchased the car new in this color but I have learned to love it. I didn't even consider a color change when I painted it. It's a driver, very few days do I pass it for our other cars and though it looks good from a distance it has many flaws up close. I have no interest in a show car, seems like such a waste of time and car!

I'm going blind looking at the car. Do you have a 600 x 400 version of the car? Looks great for a postage stamp though.

Love the color

Great location! Are you in the patio homes just on the other side of 59 by chance?

Your spider looks great in the pictures!

I was thinking the same thing as Ron immediately when I saw that picture. I even showed my wife that picture from the IAP web site last year as the benchmark for how I want my car to eventually look. Welcome to the site! I have owned my car for a year now, but like you, I have spent most of my time under it getting the mechanicals completed sorted out. Can't wait to do a full respray so it is a shiny as yours. Perhaps next year...

Thanks and yes, at Runnels and Jensen behind Guadalupe Plaza Park. We love it down here. The area is still transitional though, some times you feel like you should strap on a 44. Not really, we have been here over 3 years and really had no trouble.
