To all the wives and mothers that put up with you fellas and your Fiat passions. I hope you rewarded your women well! Also, a Happy Mother's Day to the few females we have on the forum. May you be as fortunate to have the support I have with your Fiat projects. My husband thoughtfully bought me a new die grinder for my racecar project and magnetic metal tray for the nuts and bolts I pull off the car....I'm a lucky woman!

Fellas, I bought my wife a set of powder coated cam covers for Mother's Day. What did you get your wife?

of course, the yellow countertop does the maroon cam covers little justice. the color was chosen to match the air horns i installed last year.

bought a spare set of covers from Pete Angel last winter and had a friend who has a friend powder coat them for $50

installation and better pictures, later this week.

Whoa, are those pretty! Definately look better than unpolished stock ones, like mine for instance.

i'm putting a reworked head on my two litre this weekend. before i do that, my cam covers are getting a black crackle paint finish. i will post those snappy pictures soon too.

and, just so you know....the whole story.... i was told to expect a sewing kit for father's day.
