good question! the only space is at the front driver's side wheel arch there is a tray (for battery on earlier models?) Pipework will be short and close to the oil pump that way. Lot's of things to be sorted out!

So far so good with assembly except the windscreen. It was a nightmare! The rubber under the screen refused to get into a small vee shaped groove on the body, and when it did, it was so hard to push the whole assembly down to get the frame mounting holes to line up! Don't want to do that job again! Final position of the frame will have to be done when the door quarter light frames are in place to get the gaps right. The rear lights are in, and the bumper brackets done to get the gaps right. Enjoying this stage, but you constantly worry about paint damage......

Nice works mate! I would like to ask, for a photo of detail, where steering box is entering firewall. But from the engine side, if it is not a problem. It seems that on my Spider this rubber sealing looks difrent.
Thanks in advance!

I really like the blue anodized intake and exhaust pulley's, where did you get them? Beautiful build so far, I really wish I had your skill at body work, I am having to pay someone to do mine.
Stay Safe,

Thank you! The pulleys are from a company here in Europe that is called Piper Cams. Off the shelf item.Ptoneill wrote:I really like the blue anodized intake and exhaust pulley's, where did you get them? It's only my second attempt to restoration and trust me i'm learning all the time. The front fenders are spot welded on , a skill not hard for anyone to master.....
Let me know whow your spider is comming along!

no i fitted mine on the inside, because that's how it was when i removed it.(doesn't mean it is right) I must admit i tried both sides of the fire-wall and it fitted ok....i suppose it doesn't matter as the rubber part is like a lip seal against the shaft. But i didn't like the idea of the self tapper screws sharp point being on the inside.braca23 wrote:Yes please. I would like to see if there is any rubber piece from the engine side.

Ok. Btw, what You did with Your bumpers, order new, or rebuild old set? The front one, looks very good.

Both are new reproduction. Spend good few hours getting it to fit right, with shims etc, and made my own brackets, and eventually got the fit right.
