Polish the crank?

I dropped my block off for a .40 bore and they said they'll polish the crank as well. I heard not to grind the Fiat crank, but polishing is fine, right? Is that exactly what it sounds like, just a fine polish to ensure it's blemish-free?

Yes, you are correct. Did you give them the new pistons along with the block? I hope so!!
