Gents,
After attending the Freakout yesterday, it was time to get to work on my Spider 2000. I'm getting ready to pull the motor/tranny (tranny is about to blow and she has a big dent in the oil pan which may have broken off the pickup tube). I pulled the old carb and am attempting to get the old intake manifold off before pulling the plant. The last bolt (nearest the firewall and next to the coolant line is a real bi%^h.
Any tips on how to get it?? I don't seem to have enough room because of the brake booster and the starter solenoid. I have completely used up my inventory of curses...
Thanks!
Brian

Re: Intake manifold woes!
Being as you are pulling the motor and trany. You can take the head off with both manifolds on the head. Once the head is off you will be able to get to the manifold bolts easy. With the head off you will also have more room to remove the engine and trany.
