Putting it back together, where does this go? SOLVED

Post by AaronBerk »

Okay so I'm feeling pretty ignorant right about now, and it took allot of guts to post this

So on this 1980 FI 2000 spider, where does this brown connector on the fuel injector harness go?

Thanks.....

It's about a foot to short to reach there, and I already have a beige looking plug on the coolant T

I had the whole harness unplugged while the head and intake was removed. It is possible that I got one of the others wrong, but this one definitely won't reach out to the T

that is the thermal time sensor, it tells the computer the water temp so the computer can determine the amount of time the cold start injector is on

Hmmm.... I wonder if this could be the source of my rough idle until car is warmed up. Starts ok, runs great for about 10 seconds, then sputters and coughs until warm, then runs well. Runs with good power at all speeds/rpms. New cap, rotor, plugs, wires, properly timed, injectors cleaned, water temp sensor tested, coil tested, AFM "rebuilt", idle stop switch adjusted, no air leaks, AAV tested. I am at my wit's end.
