If I was to get the 79 radiator from AR ,and the temp switch for the bottom?
Hw ones that 16 inch fan assembly work?no brackets

From memory it seems that the 2 liter radiator core is less than 16" tall, so if you put on a 16" fan it will not sit flush on the core (One edge will be over one of the tanks).
I would think it'd be better to use a 14" fan that will sit flush on the core. You'd have to custom make brackets, what kind would depend on the what kind of mounts the fan has. I usually take a flat piece of steel and bend the end at 90 degrees. That end bolts to the fan, the other end bolts to the tab on the radiator.
