Brake Fluid

Dumb question probably, but what do you guys recommend for brake fluid? (Stock 80 FI). Brand or type, etc? I have no idea when it was last changed, but I have had the car 2 years, so I am going to purge it all.

Dot 3 or Dot 4 - standard stuff is fine.

There are some who use different color fluids at every bleed/change, just to see when the new stuff is filling up the lines - cool idea, I never tried it, though.
