Hi All,
I have an 81 that came with cap on the dash, console and upper console. While it looks acceptable it has never really fit well.
My understanding is that the upper console is normally held in place with screws that attach the upper console to the lower.
Anyone have decent photos of the locations, what type of screw is used and what it screws into?
Thanks in advance,
Jordan
Anyone have upper console mount photos?

Should be holes in the back of your upper console, and you should see in your lower where it mounts too

Re: Anyone have upper console mount photos?
Thanks Jim,
I can see some holes so I have a reasonable idea of location.
Now I am trying to decide what type of fastener and what it is attached to. Does it simply screw into the lower console material?
Cheers,
Jordan

When I first put a radio in my car, I couldn't get the holes to line up. I ended up wrapping some wire between the two holes, and tightening it as much as I could.

Behind the lower console there a little bracket that here with a hole in it,the lower console screws n that ,I think. My memory may not be correct, then the upper screwed into lower, I used a interior button chrome screw
