Hi,
I'm a new member, I have always liked Fiats. My Dad bought a Spider new in 1977, and I learned to drive in it in the early 80s. I have just recently purchased a 78 Spider that needs alittle work to add to the stable.

Re: Hi
Welcome to the forum Chris. You say your car needs a little work, is it a driver now? Being able to get out and run around in these helps keep the entusiasm up. Let us know if you need advice or parts.

Re: Hi
Thanks for the welcome. It is a driver, I drove it alittle over an hour home. I've put new brakes on it so far and its passed the state inspection. PO had put a new top on it and redone the seats and carpet, the paint is rough and it has some rust starting to bubble the paint in the usual places I'll be attacking soon. I've only driven it around town so far, but should be using it to commute next week. No pictures so far, but will try to take some this week end.
