Hissing brake peda

Hissing brake pedal and becoming more difficult to push down. I feel like I broke something. Doing some research on the forum I'm thinking its the booster? Checking the fluid tomorrow, and taking it from there.

Pooched booster. Recently replaced mine as it had the same symptoms. Takes 1-2 hours.

I put an add out on the local Craigslist, well sort of local.. Vancouver BC(400 kms away) and a fellow had one that was good for $40.00
Take a look in the parts section here and enquire about a booster. New they are a bit pricey.

If I can chime in quickly:

I had similar problems and had the master cylinder and brake lines bled. Worked like a charm. Have you had the brakes worked on recently?

Otherwise its the booster.

I have a booster that I took out of my 1975. It worked fine but I replaced it with a new one You can have it for the cost of postage. PM me if interested.
