1980 2.0
Engine runs like a champ. But I was messing around today whie it was at a stand still in park
Was pumping the brake , as I was doing that the idel would go higher

A brake booster on its way out would be my guess.

it is perfectly normal. pumping the brakes while the car is running will cause the idle to get a bit faster

Why is that BEEK? Vacuum difference?
