Jay. I recently replaced the hub on the front passenger side. To undo the nut I turned the wrench clockwise.

No worries Jay.... I have a brake booster to change... and that means the under dash contortions and clutch cable cable disconect at the tranny..and a bit of knuckle rash..

LOL, you are using the lug nut tool from the Fiat tool box.

@Peter I lost it somewhere between Milano's and Tuesday It was missing before I even jacked the car I will send Chuck an email and cross my fingers. I also sent an email to Ottawa Fasteners. Worst case I will buy some Anyone know the size?

19 mm head 12 X 1.5 thread. I use a breaker bar when the car is on the ground to loosen and then when in the air, the battery impact drivers will undo the rest of the way.
Just remember when putting the tires back on and the car is on the ground to tighten with a torque wrench or the breaker bar and don't count on the battery impact to be tight enough.

I regularly use a torque wrench on mine, and I found that after I had refurbished the wheels last year, which included sandblasting and painting, that they needed to be checked about every week as I was finding them a little below torque each time, not quite loose, but if I hadn't checked them, they WOULD have come loose and eventually probably fallen out. It was clearly a result of the fresh paint on the contact areas of the wheel/bolt. I now check them with the TW about every month or so and after found that the first month or so there was no loosening whatesover. (I drive maybe 100 miles per month). In the future I will mask or remove any paint from the bolt contact areas on the wheels!

I was very lucky to have a friend (Chuck) locally who has some for me. looking to pick them up today or tomorrow. Long weekend so would love to be driving safely

Did the swapping of the steering knuckles. Was all excited to take her for a test drive and as I pulled out, there it was the f'kn knocking again Back in she went. Took it all apart again to find that it was the brake rotor Replaced and voila, no more noise Put on the lug nuts, torqued to 62lbs and took Fiona for the best test drive ever. She rides soooooooooooo smooth now.
