just want to know how you guys remove this centering ring my book says use two screwdrivers but its not working for me

For some reason that looks different then the one I just removed. Mine was doughnut shaped and I used a battery end removal tool to get mine off. By the looks of it if that piece is just pressed on there, Why not just use a deep impact socket on the nut and it should push it off as the nut comes off.
