With seats as nice as those, I think you should live with the blue for a little longer. Spend your money on gas and making it go and stop faster!!!!!!!Nick wrote:Thanks for the information on the parts. I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep the original or change it to black. The main reason we want to keep it the original is because the seats are in almost perfect condition, and its hard to justify redoing the entire interior with perfectly fine seats. I am tempted by the lack of paint restrictions black brings, so maybe I'll end up changing it, still havent decided, have plenty of time though.

Re: Salutations!
Yeah, I've decided to keep the blue interior. I like it alot and its growing on me. I'm trying to figure out now what the original colour is, the previous owner told me it was a lighter blue than the one it is now, and I see some spots hidden on the inside of panels and things that are about the same colour as the interior. When I check under the hood for the little metal plaque that has the original paint code on it, it says 0449, and according to a chart i found here: http://www.spidercenter.com/ it says that 449 is a dark blue, which is the current colour. Intriguing...
Re: Salutations!
it may have been painted more than once; changed to a light blue, then back to dark
Re: Salutations!
Perhaps that is the case, the previous owner was only aware of one colour change but that doesn't mean that there was only one.
