In turning in the mixer screws on my carbs, the first carb I can turn them in and as normal the engine wants to die,so in turning them out one full turn it runs better, so I know at least those work, second carb,I turn them in and no change,either one of the mixture screws
So what going on

you are not running on the idle circuit

are you refering to a dual carb setup?, if you are disconect the inter carb linkage first
