What do you guys do with the mechanical fuel pump ,when you convert it to a electric fuel pump?
Is there a cover replacement or do you get one made

I believe there is a cover plate. I just let one go with an engine I sold. Mine on my car has the same plate.

I think there is a Ford or Chevy block off plate that works also.

Just make one out of aluminum or steel plate. Use a gasket or the phenolic spacer as a template.

Alternatively you could use a nylon/derlin cutting board. (usually white, but I've seen green and red) Its about the right thickness, machines easily, and will withstand the heat. You will need to sand down one side to remove the knurled surface so it will seal.
