Hello all,
I am returning after many years away from this site. I just (last night) purchased a 1979 Spider. It's a nice little car, dark blue with tan nterior, I drove it about 35 miles. Runs pretty well, suspension is a little sloppy and it idles too low. Interior needs to be reupholstered and seats need to be welded. Other than that it's not bad. I look forward to your advice and comments while getting her in shape.
Hello!!
Sure it's familiar, but it's a sexy little sports car and you _were_ able to drive it.jacksplace wrote:Fiat4me:
I finally got around to driving my new '78. The suspension is sloppy, the engine backfires on deceleration and it needs an interior. Sound familiar?
Lots of people have really ugly bad-handling cars that need work, and you're way ahead of them.
When your car is fixed up, you'll almost have a Ferrari. When the others are fixed up, they'll still be ugly bad-handling cars.
