New member from Lynchburg VA
Howdy! I'm new to fiats and just bought an 82 Green spider 54K, no rust : )) with a bit of front end customizing. I work at my dad's auto repair shop and we worked on an 85 a number of years back and all ways wanted one so now I have it and have found this site. Looks like a lot of good info, thanks for all the effort. I also have connections in salvage industry (how I got mine) and run across some from time to time I'll post what I find if anyone is interested (I have one in Miami FL selling on Tues 15th) 85 pinin, blue with tan int, at, 35K, parts only title, hit in front, does run. Anyway I hope to be an asset to this forum.

Hello and welcome Lee. Boy, it sounds like you're going to be a popular guy around here. A source for parts cars! And a mechanic! Perfect combination, maybe SoCal Mark can get a little rest now.
Let's see some pictures of your car.

Can always use another source for parts cars. Welcome aboard! Is your car fixed and on the road? If it is, you should consider attending FFO as you are definitely within driving distance http://www.flu.org/ffo2008/ It's a great place to meet a lot of fellow enthusiasts.

howdy yourself. welcome to the site. Got any pictures to share with the group? looking forward to our conversations.
Re: New member from Lynchburg VA
Thanks for the welcome, I will clarify and say that my expertise has more to do with body work than mechanical. And no my car is not road worthy at the present. The previous owner must have rear ended some one. But I would rather straighten a frame than fix rust . I will try to get some pics as soon as I can. How do you post pics on here our do I need to set up an account with another site. Also our shop specializes in volvo and saab we service, sell, and rebuild salvage them and also have collected many parts cars. So let me know if you need parts for any volvo I can get them for you. Also have some saabs if anyone is interested in the turbos. We are working at taking some of our old cars to the crusher.
I do know a man that worked exclusively on fiats and maybe lancia in the 70's at a shop in FL I'll see if I can get him on here too.

Hi Lee, Welcome! Now tell me about this parts car around the corner from my house?
Re: New member from Lynchburg VA
Yeah, Man, tell us about the parts car!
...and welcome! Several lifetimes ago I was in Lynchburg for a few years of school. GREAT memoreies there!
I need parts/parts/parts for my '83 Pinin!!!
Put my name on the whole rear area (package compartment & rear-surround), and the center console/dash, and the door panels...and the carpet, too, if it's in decent shape.
If memorey serves, Central Virginia should be about ready to explode into spring...a perfect time for Fiat driving! Get that car on the road, you'll be shocked how quickly you get addicted...
