Apparently, I forgot to order cups for my front suspension

I pulled out my spring rubber seats only to find that there is a metal cup (my manual says ring & thrust ring) as well. I was unaware of this prior to ordering my replacements. I have searched a few vendors and have not been able to find them. Perhaps they are known by another name?

Merci beaucoup, I am billingual so no issues there I think I am going to clean mine and see where I am after that. Rigaud is not far at all, so perhaps after all this stupid snow melts away we can make arrangements. I was at the Montreal Fiat Freakout last year (lots of fun).

After a busy week I took them apart and let them soak in some Pine sol.................let the waiting begin



Inside is shiny mint

Cleaned with Pine-sol then painted with Rustoleum

The rest of my parts arrived today (10 days later ). Hopefully have the whole suspension complete by this weekend.

There seems to be a bit of a difference between the tie rods. Does one anyone know if they go on specific ends (inside or closer to the outside etc)?

I think I remember that they color code them so that they go on in pairs, since one is a reverse thread so that when you turn the rod, it shortens or lengthens the overall length. If booth were the same thread, the rod would just move along the threads with no overall distance change.

Almost ready for re-assembly of the passenger side Need to wire wheel the passenger wheel well then paint with Rustoleum and will be good to go. Hoping to put tires to road this weekend.
