I'm with you..... just because it say Quincy Jones, does not make it worth listening to.

You know, when you say "Italian Sports Car Music", for some reason I seem to forget the "sports car" part and think this...

OK that was a lot of fun watching these cars drift and speed like it was groovy...

What's not fun is watching these guys wreck their cars in this way including Ferraris, Lambourginis, Porches, etc. into poles, barriers, walls, other cars, etc.

There's only one type of music appropriate for top-down driving in the Fiat when just cruisin' slowly...classical music. Otherwise, I listen to Christian music - Third Day is a top choice!

I can't believe nobody offered up "She drives me crazy" by the Fine Young Cannibels. I know I have felt that way many times while I crawled under the dash. I think Fiats should play that song every time you start them up.

For me it's mainly 80's.

Especially:

that must have been the 2nd wave, the British Invasion took place in the 60s

Yes second wave. I was born in 69 so the 80's is my genre. Brittish influence such as Duran Duran, Depech Mode, New Order and son on.

You boys over the pond sure have some good ideas about music. But for me, the sun's out, the top's down, I'm cruising in my Italian car on empty Spanish smooth winding mountain roads over-looking the lake; it's got to be The Late Great Luciano Pavarotti belting out Nessun Dorma followed by Chris Rea's album, La Passione. Sooo laid back, it's horizontal! 8)

Being of Italian descent (first geration Canadian) I cannot argue with that.
