Ain't all that bad. My friend Cornell at Reliable Motors in Costa Mesa gave me a couple old style dipsticks to try and this one worked best. Just have to re-index it ... a little wet 'cause the stock one was "floating" for a while.azruss wrote:the 1438 dipstick did not have the extension tube. Thanks Razooli! You are quite correct. I am about two weeks into my first Fiat and should have checked the photos against the layout in my car. For those that have to bend the alt bracket, it seems there is a range of experiences though all seem happy in the end.
