The right 34ADF?

Post by GuyD »

Happy New Year!

I received a lot of great help in an earlier posting asking about a carb upgrade for my 80. I decided to go with the 34Adf.

I found one at a local junk yard but want to confirm this is the right one before I install over the winter. I also sourced a sinle plane manifold for it.

The Weber 34ADF I bought has the following markings, 34 ADF 15 250. Does that sound right? Are there different ones out there?

I'm having a hard time posting the pic. I'll try again from my PC.

Thanks!

Yep, that will work. I know Chris Obert at fiatplus sells rebuild kits for it as well if you need one. I'm sure the other vendors do as well.

Honestly not really sure what the 15 250 designates, maybe someone else will chime in with that answer. I think the last stamp on the base (1B, 4H, etc.) is a lot code.

And for what it's worth mine is stamped 54 250 and works fine.

Have a look at this site to identify your carb.
(click on "Exemples de réglages de carburateurs Weber (format xls)")

Yours has venturis of 24 and 26 mm, and was originally mounted on a fiat 131 racing (don't know what engine size).
Check your jets size to know if they are still in stock configuration.

they have changed how you post a pic a few times but you need a housing site that you need to upload your pics first
then you get the [url code} in its bars and copy it to here on a post

hope this helps
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)
