As it says. I'm redoing the brakes and see what appears to be a jack socket behind the bulb setup for the foot well onthe drivers side. Is this for test equiptment? Or is is a 12 V jack that I can fashion a 'trouble light' to plug in there?
It appears to be 1/4" jack, like the older style headphones. Think 1970's.

That's it. I guess I'll make up a 12 v lamp on a long wire to use in case I have to
make an emergency 'roadside' nitetime repair.

Here is what MG gave the customer in their 1947 model. Very cool. (and original too. This is from my friend's car). 2 prong connection plugs into the dashboard.
