Heater air door
Heater air door
This probably has been answered before but what is the trick to free up the door travel? I removed the cowl and lubricated the door as best I could but it still won't open and close as it should using the cockpit lever. Any way to effectively lubricate the cable?

Thanks, jay. I read that post before I started. The door is free enough to close with the control lever but doesn't want to open again. I think the cable may need to be replaced and that looks like it may be a real bear. The excuse for a shop manual that came with the car doesn't address it. Fun and games
