Welcome to the forum Mike. Do you get enough nice weather in your part of the UK to take advantage of the Spider? Very nice looking car! We don't see many that still have the front dam in place.

G'day Mike, very nice car - Welcome to the forum. If we can get more Pommy, Kiwi and Aussie members on board we should gang up on these Yanks and educate them as to the proper use and spelling of the English language. Terms such as 'Hood -the canvas bit you sit under when it's raining', 'Boot - that cavernous storage unit aft of the rear wheels' as well as the use of 'Bonnet', 'Guards' and 'Petrol' would be a pleasant change.

Thank you for the warm welcome. One more pic which might be of interest to this forum. It was taken in February at a local classic car autojumble. I don't know if it is due to global climate change but it was sunny and warm enough (just!) to drive there with the top down (note the long shadows and people in winter coats). By contrast, the Easter weekend autojumble meet was a wet and windy affair and the roof stayed firmly up.

Also in the pic is a 1974 Fiat 124 Berlina. Purely by coincidence, I met up with a fellow classic Fiat owner who has this wonderful 'timewarp' 4 door 124. The orange car is a rare BMW 2002 coupe and the yellow one is a Ford Cortina GXL MkIII

Very nice! You can't go wrong with that color, er, colour combination on an Italian sports car. Love the "turbo" wheels. Welcome aboard.
