FI head

Post by rodman »

My 1980 was a FI car but not it has a carb. Did the FI use a different head then the carb car? If so how can I tell what type of head I have?

The carb head had some extra emission control passages. Air injection port close to the spark plugs, and an EGR passage at the very front-lower part of the head.
