Fuel filler hose removal...any hints????

You can use 5/16" fuel hose for the vent hoses.

Thjey are all 2' or less and I think any 5/16'' hose will work.It doesnt need to be f.i. rated.I did use fuel hose,though.When you pull your carpet from the left inside trunk,you will immediately see them.If one is brittle or cracked it could definitely give off the smell of fuel,as they are attached to the tank.Very quick and easy job.

I see we're discussing a fuel smell in the trunk area. I had that same issue for quite some time. Every morning the garage smelled like a gas station. Found out it was the rubber fuel filler hose. The one my car had on it was not ethanol resistant and therefore the vapors came right through the hose. Replaced that hose with a hose found at NAPA (part number 1047) that is ethanol resistant, and the problem went away that very day. Worth a look.
