Any trick to removing the resevoir hoses to the master cylinder? I've got to remove them from the master to replace the master cyl. I plan to remove the resevoir and master from the car to make the swap on a bench so I don't splash brake fluid all over the paint.

What tool(s) works best to pop out the plastic fittings in the master?

I haven't taken the master cylinder apart. As far as removing the reservoir hoses, since you plan to remove the master cylinder and the reservoir together - then it would be easy to set them in a bucket to drain, and then remove the reservoir. Good luck.
