I had posted earlier with a photo of a "spare".
I pulled the original and discovered that the "spare" wasn't for a 124. The flare fittings and mounting bolt holes were reversed.
I don't know how to delete the thread.......

I don't know much about these but I read somewhere that you can run without it. I'm sure others will chime in.
