Hi all.. I'm about to get my head redone, and I ordered a gasket kit.. I know what all the gaskets are for, except for one:

Can someone clue me in?

That is an exhaust gasket. It goes between the exhaust manifold and downpipes. It is specific to 68-73 cars that have a 4-2-1 system. If you have a single downpipe comming off the cast iron exhaust manifold, then you don't need it.

A 4-2-1 is a bolt on improvement for your engine. The weight of the thing might make shipping a bit pricey, but check the usual places and see if a car is being parted out nearby. I'd think the thing would be kind of inexpensive as well as an owner might have upgraded to headers.

I know.. I just have stuff thats higher priority right now... The shock towers need attention, and I should get new tires...

Just trying to get it road worthy now, and then worry about performance/looks.
