Metal Rescue - I am a believer of this snake oil

I had been doing some research on DIY home electrolysis

Then I stumbled across this gem

At first I thought this was a late night infomercial type of BS product

Absolutely however, the cost is pricey When my Fiona gets back from having her spring perch welded I am going to try the coils and other parts, results to follow.

There are several others that make similar products, Por15, masterseries,etc. It works well as long as you paint the parts, otherwise they will rust again in no time.

Hemmings Motor News did a report on one of these products a few years ago with very good results. It was a different brand but I don't remember.

They put the stuff in one of those big plastic buckets and soaked the stuff overnight. They said you could use it over and over.

That's all I remember.
