"Most accidents occur within 25 miles of home". They fail to say, "MANY accidents occur 25 FEET from home". Our club membership director has dinged two fenders, a trunk lid and more, including lowering his lift on his own car!
When I was cycling, a popular tip was to place the garage remote in the bike glove, so that you'd (hopefully) remember the bike on the roof before entering the garage.
