I've done a bit of research on the Internet on this, but wanted to post here and get some feedback.

Instead of removing that unsightly can on my car I repositioned it behind the front left hand fender attaching it to the inner skirt just behind the headlamp bowl. Clearance is all good.

I needed the space for an oil vapour recovery tank.
