Would any know where the topic on the gangster lean fix would be under. Could not find it.

Vick Auto now offers rebuilt seat frames if you want an alternative.

Another cause of the gansta lean is the buckleing of the back rest. I pulled the seat out again today determined to fix the lean. When the back buckled it acually spread about 3" and pulled the adjustment rod out of the right side. I did not take any before pictures but this is what I did to add axtra support.
I used a funiture clamp to pull it back together(along with the help of a hammer) and welded in a 5/16 rod to help support it.
It worked out very well . Now I gatta get used to sitting like I should have been for the last year. Must have been some serious stuff going on in that car for that seat to buckle where it did. I'll try and be a little more gentle with it than the p.o. Or maybe not.
