Hey all, greetings from sunny Florida!
Not currently a Fiat owner, currently lavishing most of my time and money on my 1974 Z, but looking for a new toy now that I have the Z pretty much where I want it for now. For now I'll probably read, lurk & learn. When it comes time to pull the trigger I'll be looking for a nice rust-free early Spyder. Maybe someone here has my next ride, who knows?
I've never owned a Spyder but can lay claim to a 128 Sport Coupe and a Lancia Beta Coupe in my past, amidst the half-dozen or so British roadsters that I somehow keep coming back to.
A year and a half ago I bought my first Datsun Z, a first Gen 2+2, and am fairly proud of the results with that car (below)
I still have a Triumph Spitfire off the frame in my garage, waiting for me to get motivated enough to swap in a V6 and finish that up, but that's a long-term project I just might decide to allow someone else the pleasure of finishing. Anyway, don't mind me if I poke around here a bit and get a feel for the neighborhood.
Regards,
Fred

Re: Hi, considering picking up a Spyder
Welcome-
Sweet Z! - my husband's vette has the same paint scheme-
Wish you all the best on finding your Spider!
Let my Spitfire go a few years ago - After I threw a rod going over
the Bay Bridge, it was never the same - even after the rebuild and
months of rehab. Some poor kid picked himself up a nice lawn ornament.
This site is tops for everything-spider!
