Have not been in this area of the forum for same time but thought I'd comment anyway.
Regarding that link : The jack with the slightly domed top is correct and you should find 2 recesses either side of the car outside the rocker / sill seam to accept that dome. As for colour, that varied with age. I know of a genuine one owner (1972) car and it's jack is that light blue, car was/is yellow.
I've seen the identical jack painted a pale green, as original equipment in a "original" Ferrari. Remember they all came out of the pinnin plant and there are interchangeable bits.
