Thanks azruss. I found a connector and boot at Auto Ricambi. Hopefully, that will take care of my issue.

Yes. Good point about the staggered splice.

I just got my new CTS connector today. Hopefully that takes care of my issue. It's been a week and I miss driving her.

So. I got the connector yesterday, and installed it today. It definitely needed replacing, but although she starts right up, she quickly starts to run rough and eventually stalls, but will start right up. I was thinking that since the fuel mixture wasn't correct, and has been smelling rich, it may have thrown off. So I pulled my plugs and they are BLACK.

Are my plugs shot, and do you think replacing them will get her idling correctly, or could it be something else?

Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you checked the temperature sensor itself? When the engine is cold as measured by the sensor, the ECU adds extra fueling (like a choke on a carb). If it is always showing high resistance, the engine will start and run OK cold but will run very rich at temperature. I think the resistance value should be something like 9000 to 12000 ohms cold and 300 ohms hot.

pull the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator to check for signs of leakage
