ADFA32 idle jet

Post by Rascal »

Hi,

I have an ADFA32-3 100 carb. While adjusting the idle, I have to turn the idle ajust all the way in -1/8 turn to get the fastest idle. The jet is a .50. Should I try a different jet?

Ordinarily I would say no, you're fine, but you could try a 47 jet. 47 is one of the few intermediate jets they make (usually the jump is increments of 5) so you may find a better range of adjustment with it.

Take yours out and compare it to the pictures; if you have the solenoid it may be the style of the IDA jet. You may have to call them to match it up, maybe take a picture of what you have and email it. If you don't have the solenoid then it should just be an ordinary jet like those for the Dxxx carbs.
