My 82 FI just passed smog in Calif and I'm in a part that only requires a smog report on transfer of title so I thought I'd change air filter to cone type(as many have posted about) on my AFM. Will the oil in the new filter gunk up the sensor or flap on AFM?
Also I'm planning on removing cat converter and putting in straight pipe in it's place. I've read on posts that I would get modest horsepower gains from these minor mods. Any other minor (read cheap) mods that I can do to improve performance. I've replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.
