Just installed timing belt and tensioner bearing and the belt seems to be wander back at the crank pulley toward the block. This can't be good in the long run obviously. Read an early post (2006) about getting aux pulley with rear flange that seemed to work. Where do you get one and might there be any other easier causes/fixes to this problem.

Does your newe tensioner look like your old?? How did old belt look?? Are you sure this is problem??
If old belt looks fine, and new tensioner looks like old, methinks whatever you are seeing is not an issue.

They all wander. The ones with the backstops are fine but to be honest I've never had one fail with or without.
