Hi guys, I somehow broke through the bottom plate and the guts of my shift assembly are hanging out.
At this time I am alone and in a shared garage, hoping for any tips to pulling it back up and patching it together.
I had the nut come loose about 15 years ago, and I was more enthusiastic. Now I'd like to get her roadworthy and salable.
Any suggestions on parts suppliers?
Thanks. Pete

Re: Gear shift broke free
You should be able to service it from under the car without much issue. It is a good enough opportunity to change out the driveshaft donut if it is worn or showing cracks. Parts suppliers, autoricambi or Chris Obert. But use whoever you like.
