Pulled the fuel rail today as part of the final part of firing up a car that sat for ten years.
Here is the fuel rail and a close up on an injector as they looked when pulled.
i am guessing the double seals missing on two injectors are stuck in the engine ports, but does the FI tip look right? i was expecting a visible screen?
Car consitently starts and idles smooth off the cold start injector, but consistently stalled after 2 3 seconds which is when i figure the FIs should take over. So following advice on another post I removed the injectors to have them cleaned and flow tested. i just want to be sure i didn't leave clogged screens in the engine ports.

the screens are in the injector inlet. If it was on the nozzle, the spray pattern would be disrupted

Thanks Mark, that makes more sense as I wondered how that would work with the spray pattern,
