Bell housing?

Post by 76124 »

What model came with a large removable inpsection cover on the bottom of the bellhousing? Not the typical flat plate. This covers the entire bottom of the bell housing. Never seen one before, but I have only owned spiders and sedans.

Thanks

This is a Fiat tranny and was mated to 2.0 motor....I'll try to get a pic of it.

i own 124BC, 131, 132 and several other fiats and do all the work on them myself, bellhousing with removable part would be a nice one to have. i've seen something simmilar on mk1 fiat 131 with OHV 1300cc engine but i don't think that bellhousing would fit any DOHC engine since it accomodates only 180mm clutch plate. on the other hand, it would be straight bolt on to a 124 gearbox.
